Join our team as a volunteer and contribute to the upkeep of our community centre! We are looking for individuals who can generously dedicate their time to help with general maintenance tasks such as painting garden fences and various repairs. While this role is voluntary and unpaid, we provide valuable training and development opportunities. Think of it as being a ‘good neighbour’ to our community centre. Whether you can offer a little or a lot of your time, your efforts will have a significant impact. Come make a difference with us!
Preferred Skills
• Ideally you are handy and have experience in DIY and repair jobs.
• Be flexible and understand that tasks may not be consistent but varied.
• Be familiar with tools that we have in our woodwork shed.
• Happy working outdoors and working unsupervised once task is clear.
Agreement
• Valued work experience and ability to fill in the gaps of unemployment.
• References for future work etc.
• Personal growth and training.
• Making a difference to the community.
• Working with a wide range of people.
